So if I make another UV/Flixster, redeem those movies on UV#2, I can then merge UV#2 into my master UV#1 account and UV#2 is gone forever? Thanks.
No, it merges the user into your account. So basically if you are the only user on your account and merge the second account in to it you will have 2 users. Yourself and the account you merged into it. So you can't have 5 users on each account and merge them together, but you can have 1 user with one member and another member with 4 users and merge them together.

As of earlier today the merge feature was still not working for me. They're supposed to be issuing a patch today, but I guess they haven't yet.

So currently it does appear that you will be able to remove the member after you merge the accounts...

However I am still unable to merge an account to my main account

What good would this be for? If you remove the member after you merge the accounts do you still get to keep any of the movies they had added in their account once they are removed?

This is the only reason I could see doing this?

                **Added**
Also after the merger and removal of the user would you still have access to all their movies they may have added into their Vudu account(linked through UVVU)? As well as would they still be in their Vudu account and regain access once relinking a new UVVU account to their personal Vudu account?

I could see this being useful because you could charge a friend for use of your movies. I had a friend and coworker ask if they could be in my group if they paid me and i said no because they dont buy movies.

Now if i could charge them a fee for 6 months access then remove them that would be cool and a good way for me to buy more movies and for them to keep whatever they added which is most likely nothing.

From what I can tell the movies stay, but their account would be gone forever. They could not log in to their account anymore since it no longer exists. The movies would always be linked to their old deleted UV account, so even if they can still see them in Vudu it would not move them to a new UV account if it was created. I had one of those free movies from the create a new UV account promotion (A Very Brady Sequel). When I deleted the dummy account and linked my normal UV account back to Vudu the movie still showed in Vudu, but did not link to my normal UV account.

Interesting, so the members UV account is deleted when you remove them from your group? There goes my plan

So will all movies redeemed through Vudu stay on your Vudu account if you unlink/delete your UVVU account? It sounds like that is the case and that you will lose movies redeemed through say Sony since they were added via UVVU.

That's what my question was leading to. Any thing done through your Vudu account should stay once a new UVVU account is created you should have access again.

But for the movies with Sony, I'm not sure.

An easy way to test this is just to unlink your UV account from Vudu. If they still show there then you know that's what happens.

Ok just tried this, and yes every thing that I have done D2D are still there. Movies that I redemed with a UVVU code that I purchased like Ghost Protocol, doesn't show up.

Just a reminder that that should be a last resort. Some people have been unable to relink their accounts after unlinking and relinking more than once: http://forum.vudu.com/showthread.php?t=555281
