Has anyone had luck upgrading free movies or other movies in general from SD to HDX by emailing Flixster/WB support? I've got around 15 or so free movies I got that are in SD and a handful of purchases from Cinemanow that I paid the HD price for and only have SD. If I could get these in HD that'd be awesome.
The post I made this morning was about the 6 free movies I got from Flixster for doing various things like getting the app, ect. Not all the free movies WB has in HD though but they did update "The Bodyguard" for me to HDX and that I got free. So it's worth sending them an email with a list of what you want upgraded and see if they'll do anything for you or not.

They finally upgraded my copies of Horrible Bosses and Harry Potter 7 part 2 to HD.

I guess my next attempt will be to ask them about Zero Dark Thirty and some of the free redemption titles like Demolition Man and Lethal Weapon.

I just got a response back after asking for my upgrade of similar free SD UV movies I received from Flixster. In my request, I specifically mentioned THE BODYGUARD as I own that one as well. They forwarded the question to Flixster Support (OH GOD, NOT THEM) and I got the usual useless response from them. They told me that "Movie playback isn't available in HD through Flixster at this time."

I'm not joking. Really. That was pretty much the whole e-mail.

Well, I guess it was worth a shot. I finally got all of my Blu-Ray Combo Pack SD movies upgraded from uvsupport@wb.com recently, so I should just be happy with that. But, you're experience with THE BODYGUARD got my hopes up so I had to try.

Anybody have any luck with Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels at getting their copy to redeem in HDX? Its the only movie I have in my cloud thats in SD. I see they offer it in HDX. Think i might have redeemed it at the wrong site or something. Thanks

After I read your post I emailed Warner about upgrading my Horrible Bosses. A couple hours later I got HD. Thanks for the leg work.

Did you mention in the email to WB that you got them free from Flixster? If you did maybe that's why they forwarded it instead of just taking care of it themselves. Cause I made no mention of Flixster anywhere in my email. I basically just told them that I had these 6 movies in SD and was hoping to get them upgraded to HD if possible but that I didn't have the codes for them anymore. Now I did all this through the same work order as my original request I made earlier in the day with using codes so I don't know if that made a difference or not.

But I can say that WB will upgrade the free movies from Flixster. I guess maybe you just have to have the right person answer your email. But I would definitely try again if I were you.

Re: Early adopters IN LUCK with UV! Flixster upgraded SD movies to HDX!

I FINALLY got the HD format for the following titles added to my account last night (all were codes that came with Blu-rays):
Green Lantern & Green Lantern: Emerald Knights
                The Town: Extended Edition
                Wrath of the Titans

Since February 9, I submitted a total of 10 support tickets via the following methods, most of which are mentioned in this thread:
                http://www.wbdigitalcopy.com/support/#landing-content
                http://support.ultraviolet.flixster.com/
                uvsupport@warnerbros.com
                uvsupport@wb.com
                uvvip@warnerbros.com

I also sent several emails to the director of digital media operations & customer support and to an executive in the marketing department. I received an apology from the director on March 17 that she had reviewed my support tickets and the support I received was not indicative of the standards set at WB or Flixster's Customer Service and that she would be working with the team to resolve the issues. However, I still had to submit several additional support tickets and follow-up emails to her before they finally added the HD format last night and this was only after I submitted a final support ticket, sent another follow-up email to the director and sent a follow-up email to the marketing executive. I subsequently received an apology from the marketing executive and she informed me that she was making sure that this got escalated, right before the issue was finally resolved.

Obviously, this was a frustrating experience, but I am glad that it's finally taken care of. What made this even more frustrating was reading the thread and seeing that others were getting this resolved quickly after I received the apology, but that my issue still had not been resolved. Hopefully my suffering will help others to get their issues resolved in an expedited manner!

Sony can be contacted by phone, if you redeemed the movie through their site at 1-800-860-2878.

Ty Blurayfan. It was actually a free movie they gave me here (only one) back when I first signed up. Also I do have one other movie Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels that I did redeem (Universal). And it redeemed in SD After finding this thread I sent Universal an email yesterday in hopes of getting it upgraded to HD (seems only right since I redeemed from a Blu-Ray). I didn't get an email confirmation saying they even got my email so I may have to resend it. Thanks again for your help and for everyone in this thread who has made it easier on us newbies to get headed in the right direction on getting our clouds in all HDX

It toke around 7 days for Universal to respond to my original request then they wanted proof and then another 7 days for the codes.

Well after many emails and Warner brothers adding Shameless: Season One to my account two times now. The last email response even stated we have manually added the Blu-ray version, yet I still don't have HD rights. I don't understand why it is so hard to correct.

                            7 Copies of ParaNorman

I hope we get editing rights to our UV Lockers soon. I'm happy Warner is upgrading my titles to HD but my UVVU & CinemaNow accounts are full of duplicates. I have 4 copies of Hangover II, 3 Copies of Project X, 2 copies of Horrible Bosses, 2 copies of Journey 2, 2 copies of Wrath of The Titans.

Not Warner's fault but I have 7 copies of ParaNorman in my UVVU locker and CinemaNow. UV support can't fix this.

So glad VUDU does not show the duplicates like the others.

Yeah, they appear to be really busy or just really slow, I should have just sent proof of my code the first time I sent the email form. I think it had a place to send a picture (or maybe not). Anyway, I don't remember who I tried contacting about Mr. Deeds but it wasn't Sony lol...and It is now in HDX in my cloud. I honestly think I contacted Flixster and I don't think they even have the movie. I dunno who I contacted (it was late on a long day at work). Thanks for the help and responses!

I just got new codes sent to me for The Thing and Safe House from Universal that redeemed in HDX. When I redeemed on Uni's site, it still gave me the option for iTunes. Has anyone redeemed these codes on iTunes as well and if they work are they HD or SD?
