Re: Disc to Digital Title List

Just tried Superman 2 and (shockingly) it doesn't work. It also doesn't show up as HD anywhere on the site. Weird.

Same thing for me I wish they would update the system to include the Superman Motion Picture Anthology! I know I have submitted the disks on the D2D system multiple times....

The original Wild Things is D2D-eligible but I can't seem to find it on your list - am I missing it somewhere?

It's one of the weird titled ones, labeled as "Criaturas Salvajes (Wild Things)". I'm going to rename it now so it will fall in line alphabetically. I think I'm going to reset my list week sometime this week as the some of those alternate title items have been updated in VUDU's api. (This one is still returned as Criaturas Salvajes though.)

Wow - I would never have found that one on the list. Thanks!

Re: Disc to Digital Title List

Tried to convert my Jade bluray the other day but it's only available in SD. Thought for sure I'd seen it as HDX available before but that could just be from looking at the google doc. Can anyone confirm that this was previously available in HDX? I went ahead and purchased SD with hopes that it will automatically upgrade if and when I becomes available.

It won't auto upgrade. Vudu reps have confirmed that.

My Donner Cut Blu-Ray also SD only, no HD option.

I redeemed my Blu for The Karate Kid (1984) but was told by the system that only SD is available. I thought that if the list reflected "Yes" in the Blu-Ray HD column then HDX would be available. Am I reading this wrong?

Yeah, the list can be a little confusing. Basically, if it says "HD" under DVD, it is available in HDX. The "HD" under Blu-Ray just means that it will read the Blu-Ray disc for redemption, not that the movie is available in HD.

Not that I'm complaining, mind you. The fact that Fatty keeps an eye on this thing and keeps it so current is awesome.

The D2D list I pull from gives me information as to whether the current or upgrade resolution is available. That's really only relevant for DVDs, as Blu-rays have just one option. That's why I originally formatted the google doc in that way.

But I found a way to check whether the Blu-ray converts to SD or HD when I made the Alfred OSX extension (see link below in my sig.) I'll try and put in some hours this weekend and clean up the list and then there's a couple other things I want to do with this data.

So at this point I am confident that this movie is on your list but I just can't find it - I did a D2D conversion of The Razor's Edge (Bill Murray version) but cannot find it on your list.

Nice find! Somehow it's in my exported data, but wasn't on the Google Doc. I have no idea how that could have happened as it was in the middle of an update with ~40 titles. And although my scripts don't write directly to the spreadsheet, I don't enter them manually either.

I am currently working on/finally making progress on a new system, which should provide better titles and a full list of incremental changes going forward...along with a few other bonus features.
