Re: Error: Sorry, Disc to Digital has experienced a technical issue.

MD2D had been working fine for me, up until this past week. Now I am also getting the "ex-er9ejced a technical issue" message.

Very strange that this is no longer working.

MY ISSUE WAS ADDRESSED BY VUDU SUPPORT TODAY 7/5/2017. ENDED UP HAVING A JAMMED DISC-TO-DIGITAL CART, AND THEY CLEARED IT. I'M NOT SURE IF IT WAS A RESPONSE TO THIS POST, BUT I WANTED TO UPDATE THE POST. THANK YOU.

Same here. I have converted discs before. Now I can't. My payment method is current and active. I have 20 discs actually scanned into my Disc-To-Digital account, but I can't purchase them. Every time I try to click on my cart, I get an error message. I also can't scan more discs in. Error messages.

I have tried logging out and back in, deleting and reloading the app (multiple times), checking all my settings, accessing my account from different devices. Nothing helps. It's all jammed up.

I also left a message for support, followed by two follow ups, and they haven't responded to anything. At all. So I guess there's no help to be had there.

I feel out of options, and I'm surprised that it's so difficult to spend my money with VUDU. Kind of wish I hadn't converted the other discs now, because maybe this is the wrong digital hoarding platform for me, if they have so many issues and won't even bother to respond to my support questions.

If anyone has any final ideas before I give up, please let me know.

I couldn't find any billing info accept on my PayPal which is what I have set up in Vudu. It has my apt. number, but I went ahead and removed my apt. number from my Vudu shipping address, and now it's working. I guess that doesn't matter since I never buy discs from Vudu.

I am also having trouble with the mobile app, sounds like it might be what's happening here.

I had scanned some 50 barcodes over time with no problem. Checked out, got the titles. Working fine. I would often leave scanned barcodes in the cart if I wasn't ready to pay. I had 4 in there, then I had one that didn't work when scanning. I was fairly confident the title was D2D friendly, so I put it in the disc drive for once and tried Vudu To Go, which did not work either. After that, my titles (normally announced with a closeable banner on the D2D page of the app: "(4) Items In Your Cart!") had disappeared from my cart and scanning any barcode produces an error.

I have had a ticket open with Vudu support for quite awhile but each time I send a reply a new person replies to the email and they don't read the previous emails (in my opinion, support emails worked great for years but have gone drastically downhill recently), and thus each email contains different instructions.

Someone recently told me the forums were better than support so I figured I'd post here.

I gave up trying to get any help via email awhile ago. Like you I'd get a different person answer each time and never ever read previous emails. Having to retype the same issue multiple times and getting different promises over and over again became a lesson in futility. I love Vudu just not the customer service portion of Vudu

I now have this issue. It is not device based as it is happening both on my phone and table at the same time. I emailed support, and the first replay was useless - assumed I was using a web browser to do MD2D and told me to clear cache, etc ?!?!?!?

Second response was much more on point - asked me to clear data, remove the app, etc. which I did and that did not fix.

I just received a third email saying they escalated my case...

I was able to resolve this issue by replacing the credit card on file for my account. If nothing else helps try that.
