NO ETR (estimated time of repair). I'm a cable troubleshooter and I use the term at least once or twice a month.

NO ETR ...to give one could cause a volatile situation if doesn't happen when promised. LOL

    Hopefully soon lu.

I'm glad to hear this. Vudu did the right thing by removing the movie until they receive the correct feed.

On the Paramount Pictures website, it says the UV is available in 16x9 widescreen, and in high definition. Please ask again for a new stream.

I agree Sandra! This is one of the reasons a lot of Home Theater buffs aren't adopting UV! They don't trust it just yet. I really hope they fix these problems.

Thanks for the input lu. When I added Forrest Gump it was advertised as HDX and it's not. As far as I know it is still being advertised as HDX. AND the movie showed up on the D2D movie list I printed as HDX and charged me 5.00. So I feel they should take the movie out of my movie list and give me a 5.00 credit. I didn't get what was advertised or what I paid for. I could use the 5.00 credit towards buying another movie.

I think the SD version of Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery has the same issue.

Oddly, the Flixster version looks fine and is 16x9. I have the DVD and Bluray version and they are 16x9 as well. It's only the VUDU versions that have this problem.

But there are also people (many on these forums ) who really prefer to see exactly what was filmed rather than cropping to fit 16:9 TVs...

Haven't heard back yet but you may want to consider doing this so they know there was a problem with the encode. Thus far, this is the only movie I have that's done this.
