Re: Current UV Copies what format SD or HD

I can confirm it. I had several credits for movies and bought tv show eps other movies etc and my credit never was touched until i went ahead and bought the movie. The last one was to kill a mockingbird just a week ago. Unless its changed in the last week the credit only goes to your movie.

I agree, we really need this badly. I'm so tired of redeeming only to get SD then finding out another redemption path provides HDX.

Exclusively for the movie and specific edition provided, without exception. You won't get an error, you will simply get charged for whatever movie you purchase.

There's always the possibility of exceptions One time the code did not provide enough credit to cover the movie (American Reunion). I contacted Amazon and they noticed that I had $3 leftover from my copy of Born On the 4th Of July. The CS rep just moved the $3 from Born over as a regular gift card to make up for being over charged on American Reunion. She just made it a regular GC usuable on anything.

I recently got ALCATRAZ Season 1 on BD and when I redeemed the code, it was SD. When I looked on Vudu last night, it had been upgraded to HDX.

              Redeemed:

Spider-Man 1, 2 & 3 via Sony = Vudu HDX + I also received a copy Spider-Man 2.1 (Spider-Man 2 Extended Directors Cut) from Sony, however the Vudu copy is only SD but in my UV locker it shows as being HD.

So that was a nice little benefit. The movies are on sale this week from best buy for $8.00 each. So I had to pick them up when I saw the sale

Rock of Ages via Flixster = Vudu HDX

This title also added Rock of Ages Extended Cut to my UV and Flixster account. I guess there is no equivalent on Vudu for it, so can't watch it via Vudu. But still a nice bonus to have both versions from a single code!!!

The Lord of the Rings Extended Editions

Fellowship of the Ring: HDX through Vudu
                    Two Towers: HDX through Vudu
Return of the King: SD through Flixsters (But shows HD on UVVU, so once it's available on Vudu I'm guessing it will also be HDX).

I cannot redeem my blu-ray UV code for Arthur Christmas here on Vudu nor on Sony's UV redemption page. I get a message saying my code is invalid. I'll try agin tomorrow. I noticed that occasionaly a UV code isn't valid on the date of release, but it becomes vaild a day or two later. Duh.

I did redeem the blu-ray UV code for Annie here on vudu. It redeemed in SD.

I couldn't redeem on VUDU. I was able to redeem on the Sony site and it was only SD... Odd thing is, typically after redemption, I can then flip back to VUDU and see the movie there. It isn't showing in my collection on VUDU yet.

Not yet, check back on street date 11/13 for the redemption option.

I also can't redeem Arthur Christmas, I'll wait.
