Hopefully Vudu's D2D will work better, so many problems with Cinemanow's D2D I finally gave up after about 3 in 5 error for one reason or another

Wow, didn't think about trying the DVD side of an HD-DVD... Very cool.

Worked for me on BREACH and HOLLYWOODLAND!

I had the same problem, well I couldn't get anything to work.. I later figured out the USB Flash drive was conflicting with the BD drive in the Cinema Now software, ejected it from the pc, restarted Cinema Now and then put in Freddy Vs Jason & Weird Science DVD's are now they're ready to upgrade to HD for $5, Also tried the DVD side of HD-DVD combo Breach and Cinema Now will upgrade that to ultraviolet too

CONTAGION is now available in HD as well as SD through CinemaNow. I redeemed and got SD and HD rights in my Ultraviolet locker and HDX in Vudu.

JUSTICE LEAGUE: DOOM is still not turned on, even though it's on their D2D list.

I also redeemed these Lions Gate titles today through CinemaNow and got SD and HD rights in my Ultraviolet locker and HDX in Vudu:

    CAPTIVITY
    CRASH
    KICK A$$
    THE NEXT 3 DAYS
    WARRIOR

Here's the wacky thing. On a couple of the movies I got through CinemaNow that were supposed to have HD transfers, like BATS and GHOSTBUSTERS, I only got SD versions in my Ultraviolet locker and Vudu collection, even though Vudu sells HDX versions of both films.

For these titles, I got rights to SD and HD versions in my Ultraviolet locker but Vudu doesn't have them in HDX:

    RUNAWAY
    TEARS OF THE SUN
    THE MASK OF ZORRO

I wish there was more consistency here between the three entities.

I personally did the D2D on Superman: The Movie, paid $5 and only received the SD in Cinemanow and Vudu. The neat thing about it is that i DO own the rights to the High Definition version when it does appear in HDX/HD, it will also unlock at that time. As long as uvvu.com knows this you should be good, just gotta wait it out.

This should be reported as a problem so they can correct it.

Vudu actually has both SD and Blue Ray for "Superman: The Movie" available for disc-to-digital
