BTW you don't have to use "add disc" button.
All you need is to start VUDU To Go, switch to Disc to Digital tab, and then insert your media.
After Windows Explorer can detect media, read the volume (you can monitor that from an Explorer windows), VUDU To Go will read media.

    Thanks,

    It is working now.

Bought the 2 disc Predator/Predator 2 Blu ray set from BB today. Predator 1 worked great, Predator 2 had to manually verify the disc.

What us supposed to happen when you manually verify? I've done that a few times now. I don't get anything back, no email or anything.

There are cases that we don't have relevant mapping for those title. We are using user's feedback to cover those.

We are looking to have 1st batch of verified titles mapping into our database by the end of this week.

          Thanks,

Re: VUDU AT HOME: DISC-TO-DIGITAL Bugs?

I know I am not the first with the issue, but I have not been able to get passed the following:

"There was a communication error while verifying this disc. Please make sure you are connected to the internet and try again."

I can access my VUDU account and view my collection over the internet.

I have only tried 3 BDs so far:
            Batman Begins [UPC 085391115212]
            The Dark Knight [UPC 085391176572]
            Sherlock Holmes [UPC 883929086993]

            Please help...

I had a similar problem and question. I never got an answer but was able to get a work around for my own problem. For "whatever" reason when I have VPN or virtual private network enabled I often get that error when scanning discs. Everything else seems to work perfect. When I just VPN off and go "unsecured" which I'm not crazy about the error (mostly) goes away. I can't explain it, and it probably isn't your problem. Just throwing it out there. I might it curious though that this is the only program I have that problem with and only when trying to read a disc.

                      Here are my findings today:

THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE BLU [UPC: 794043137129] - The programs tells me it's "not eligible" for the Disc-to-Digital Program, but it's clearly listed as eligible on Vudu's "Convert DVDs" drop-down list on the site.

THE OMEN [2006] Blu [UPC: 024543401070] - Disc not recognized, but it's also on the D2D list as eligible.

The Fast and the Furious Blu Ray 2001 - does not recognize
2 Fast 2 Furious Blu Ray 2003 - Does not recognize
They are both available for D2D.

These are from the Trilogy box set.

This is excellent! Yes we do have connection to our servers to query for the identification of each disc. There is a certain socket connection that we use to communicate with our service. Usually if the client can play movie on the web browser then the client should be ready for VUDU disc conversion. If there is some special rule for your VPN/firewall not to allow that then we can't do anything.

                          Thanks,
                          LLN

We have identified the issue with your Time Travellers' Wife BLU disc.
We have done about > 600 manual mapping and we will update in the next day. I will post the list here when I have all information.

It would be really AWESOME if you folks at Vudu could post a new list of updated Vudu to Home disc ID fixes that you've done since beta launch.

"There was a communication error while verifying this disc. Please make sure you are connected to the internet and try again."

                                for

The other eligible disks in the boxed set have worked.
