    This no longer hold true?

Also when will TV shows be available in D2D? I would like to put on Shows like Rome, Band of brothers, the pacific, skins, Deadwood, Sons of anarchy, and Spartacus.
Looking at your list, it appears that most of these movies are either Disney or MGM and they are not doing D2D or even Ultraviolet at the moment but there's always hope that they will be in the future.

I know this is a waste of time but "there was a problem while verifying this disc":

mjmbond is correct. There does not currently appear to be an active process to update status for movies not recognized - I know of no one that has ever received an update response from VUDU for a movie identified as "not recognized". Your alternatives are essentially to 1) wait to see if VUDU resolves it, 2) take it to Walmart for in-store conversion, 3) convert through a different service, or 4) buy a digital copy of the movie directly from VUDU or another vendor. I converted my DVD of Starman at Flixster last year to get an HDX version into my library.

The Vudu rep at their customer service number the first time I called said it would take a few days for them to manually verify the disk, and suggested I go to Walmart for the conversion. Went to the closest Walmart (25 minutes away) and they told me they do not have the equipment to do the conversion and wanted me to go to a store about 45 minutes away, which I did not do. Figured for I wait for the Vudu notification. When I didn't hear anything after a week and a half, I called Vudu again. This time the customer support person told me the manual verification feature has not yet been implemented.

I have never had anyone from Vudu "get back to me shortly" after this process. I had to take Starman to the store for conversion.

It's not uncommon. Other titles have had the same problem some of which have been fixed over time. However, Vudu needs to modify those discs to be recognized as multiple discs.

The UPC code for the bluray copy of Starman I can not convert is 043396296312. I also have a second bluray copy with UPC 9344256004599. Neither copy will convert.
