    Thank you for the suggestion!

Since the issue is affecting so many I do not think it is a problem specific to my account, so I will refrain from calling or opening a support ticket while the issue is being resolved.

If the issue is reported as being resolved and I am still missing movies, then I will contact support.

                Re: Missing Movies

There's a reason why the numbers at UVVU.com are larger than Vudu, on UVVU.com movies and tv episodes are mixed together. An episode of tv show counts as one just like a movie. And if you added movie more than once, each is counted as well. As someone with less than 300 movies in his account, you really see how much more items are listed UVVU than Vudu. Its close 500 on UVVU, so it looks like 200 are missing? So those just looking at UVVU for first time and thinking the are titles missing, make sure understand the differences between each sites numbers.

                  Re: Missing Movies

I do not think anyone is comparing the numbers from myuv.com to vudu.

The only relevance of myuv in this situation is to confirm all the titles still exist in the UV library and the fact that they still port out to other services.

Very odd, thank you for confirming that it is happening to you too. Any additions to my UV library import into vudu properly but are causing existing titles to vanish from vudu.

Hopefully this issue clears up soon, I know we are only entering the 4th day but it seems like 4 very long days.

                    Re: Missing Movies

While researching this issue I found in my case my missing titles are those I did D2D or purchased at CinemaNow. I have recovered some of the titles by using D2D from vudu. Doing this I recovered 13 titles costing me $28.00.

                      Re: Missing Movies

I did a one-to-one check of my own library, and everything is there. However, in addition to UVVU.com sorting many titles by "The", which was an issue that I was already looking for, I did notice that some items have very different titles on the two sites (e.g., "A Midsummer Night's Dream" on Vudu is "William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream" on UVVU.com). Searching for "A Mighty Wind" on UVVU.com came up empty at first...because they have it titled as "Mighty Wind, A"! Or sometimes it just defies any logic -- the alphabetical list on UVVU suddenly veers off after "Curious George" to list Election, How to Train Your Dragon, then Stardust, before returning to Dallas Buyers Club.

I'm not saying you all aren't missing movies, I'm just saying that unless you've done a search for each item by one or two title words, it's POSSIBLE that SOME of the items just may not be where you'd expect to find them. And I only have about 500-odd items, so it wasn't too hard for me to check. Just trying to narrow down the problem; IME, the more specific and rigorous you are in defining the problem, the faster you can get someone to fix it.

I am not making it up, I swear.

It was obvious there was an issue when my vudu movie count decreased by hundreds. The missing movies still show as owned elsewhere and are playable there.

I can make a complete list but I do not have the time nor do I see the point.

Only now am I thinking how this has never happened with my physical Blu-ray or DVD collection...

Hopefully today will have some news and we will not have to wait into next week!

Thank you to vudu for looking in to this issue.

Holy crap - why not just wait for Vudu to fix the problem!?

                              Re: Missing Movies

Ok, so it appears that UV finally resolved their issue with large UV lockers and having them sync up with UV providers. Our engineers have investigated the issue and all looks fine from our end. So it seems that many large UV lockers contain rights that do not transfer over to Vudu for various reason. For example, if your show 1000 movie rights in UV, that does not necessarily mean you'll have 1000 movies on Vudu. Many user UV accounts contain duplicate rights for the same movie, invalid ALIDs, and/or international ALIDs. We do not support ALIDs that are meant for international use, therefore those titles will not import into Vudu. So if you have a particular movie in your UV locker that will not import into Vudu, then it most likely has an ALID issue. Since the ALID is created by the provider with whom you acquired the movie with, only they can update the ALID to allow it to import into Vudu. You would need to contact that providers support channel and have them resolve the ALID issue for you. Hope this clears things up for you guys.
