Are all my SD titles getting upconverted to HD?
I had Real Steel in iTunes as SD, and once it moved to MA, it became HD there and iTunes... !

Question when Vudu is working would my Vudu movies go into my iTunes locker or it doesn?t work that way?

I can confirm that Ultraviolet movies that were added to a secondary Ultraviolet account, and thus migrated to my primary UV/Vudu library, have carried over to the MovieAnywhere library.

I believe so. As long as they are on the MA list.

(Sorry for the multiple posts, I just keep finding possibly relevant info...)

As I posted earlier, I redeemed a DMA title through Amazon just before this transition (while DMA was down). I also got Big Hero 6 as a promo from MA. Both those titles, which are "DMA" titles, only show as "MA" under my Vudu library. So it seems like they are phasing out the DMA label. I wonder what this means for DisneyMovieRewards.

Nice. Good to know. I haven't had anything port from Vudu yet but did have a couple of iTunes digital copies show up in Vudu.

Re: The Official Movies Anywhere Thread

So my SD titles (in this example, Murder at 1600 and Boiling Point)...they still show SD under Vudu. Under MoviesAnywhere, it doesn't say anything about format. When I go to the Amazon video page, it just says "Watch now" and doesn't give me the option to buy the HD version. I log out, and I can see the SD and HD versions seperatley for sale.

I may be wrong here, but it seems that UV titles we own in Standard Def are being upgraded to HD when migrated to MoviesAnywhere, and then migrated back out to your other services.

Has anyone had an issue with The Lion King and/or Toy Story of Terror!?

Both don't appear in my MA account after merging DMA, I also linked itunes which has them...?

MA customer service seem a bit clueless, not a good sign if there are already issues with Disney titles.

                    * Also I have just been told that MA is not the same company as DMA and I need to take it up with them... when I asked then what company MA is she said "We are affiliated with Disney and we do collaborate with them but we are also connected to several other movie companies equally as well." and then just ended the chat abruptly.

Lion King shows up for me. But yeah, that is not good to hear about them claiming to have no involvement with DMA. Thanks for the info.

I can confirm, as I JUST did this...

I bought through Vudu the Friday 3 Film collection, and the Planet of the Apes 5 film collection, both collections in Standard Def.

All 7 movies migrated to MoviesAnywhere, and the my Amazon account, with them being in full HD on my Amazon account.

(EDIT: This did not seem to apply to an old copy of House Party, so it isn't 100%)

Man, that is good fortune. I was hoping I'd get an HD upgrade for Batman: Mask of the Phantasm after reading your post (pre-edit), but this, unfortunately hasn't happened.

It might have to do with what MoviesAnywhere actually has as HD right now...I checked another older title of mine ('Midway') and that appears to have upgraded. 'Midway' was something I got as SD because it was cheap. When I bought it, 'House Party' was only available as SD.

It really seems like they are not differentiating on the MA site between SD/HD copies. This makes some sense, since iTunes has said they will be upgrading HD owners to 4k for free. So perhaps our licenses within MoviesAnywhere are good for the maximum quality available.

                                Weird.

I connected by Vudu library to Movies Anywhere but it hasn't shown up yet ... only the titles from Disney Anywhere are in there.

Is there a lag time from when linking to the new service?
