Re: The Official Movies Anywhere Thread

Looking through some Disney titles, MA is missing a bunch of bonus features from DMA so with DMA shutting down and MA saying they are not a Disney company, looks like we will be losing a bunch of extras in the "Merge".

Just throwing this out there, apropos of nothing at all; after viewing my newly-minted video library in all of my linked accounts, I still think Vudu has, BY FAR, the best UI/interface available.

yes, add another 1000!! Vudu will still be my "go to" source for streaming movies/TV. Even if i have to go to another vendor to actually buy the movie ( because its cheaper or UHD or whatever ), i'll still come back to Vudu to watch the movie.

I've just run into my first main issue. MA is showing that I only have the standard edition of Batman v. Superman, not the Ultimate Extended Edition, which is in my Vudu library. I'm being asked to buy the Ultimate Edition over.

It really seems like they are not differentiating on the MA site between SD/HD copies. This makes some sense, since iTunes has said they will be upgrading HD owners to 4k for free. So perhaps our licenses within MoviesAnywhere are good for the maximum quality available.
Is this the case when viewing a movie purchased from somewhere else inside Vudu that has a Vudu UHD version?

Just tested "The Cell" on DA. I d2d the bluray long ago and only got it in sd because that's all vudu has and it seems to play in sd in DA... So clearly they differentiate.

I believe I know what you are asking...Fast and Furious 6, which transferred from Amazon (HD) remains as HD in Vudu, and does not upgrade to their UHD. That is the only title I have that has imported to Vudu through MoviesAnywhere, where Vudu has an UHD version.

Also, the free copy of Jason Bourne that comes with registering didn't upgrade my UV copy to UHD.

Do you have an Amazon account you can link to it? It seems easier to tell on Amazon, because it will give you the option to buy the HD version if you only own the SD version.

Is there a help link anywhere in terms of an e-mail or phone number to customer service that you can see? I only see the Help Center, which is really just an FAQ.
