    Re: UltraViolet Launched updated website

My library has loaded, and I was able to delete duplicates and unwanted titles, but my count only shows 530, and I have about 545 UV titltes, but it's too time consuming to track down which ones are missing. I do know one is Men in Black. But I still have it on vudu.

It sends me back to the library after I delete a movie. I'm happy to be able to clean up my library. Deleted the free SD movies and tons of Flixster duplicates like my Friday the 13th Collection which was inserted 3x per movie for a total of 36 entries alone.

I have only been able to get 16 to load since this beta site launched. I wish I could still use the old site.

Looks like new Merge options under "Library Settings":

"Rename your Library, merge Libraries if you accidentally created more than one, or close this Library if it is no longer in use."

What's different about that? The renaming part?

                  Re: UltraViolet Launched updated website

I think the option to merge libraries without having to email customer service is what's new.

I'm still only showing a little under half of my library.

Can someone remind me, what does "Allow ultraviolet account management" mean on the linked services?

Nope. I've been merging without emailing them for a while now. I've merged a few of my old dummy accounts in then deleted them with no problem except for the originaly glitches in the feature that they somewhat quickly fixed.

The "Allow" message means that your account should stay linked or something like that. I always figured it was a beta type feature that would eventually let us delete movies from providers on their own websites. I do think it showed up around the same time that Flixster started letting you delete titles obtained through Flixster.

                      Re: UltraViolet Launched updated website

When the site first loaded my partial library, I deleted a few duplicates, but there were other's that I didn't delete because I didn't know which one was the HD copy. Later, when my full library loaded, the other duplicates were gone. It seems that the site is definitely improved from when it first launched. I can't wait till they implement the universal redemption page.

                        Re: UltraViolet Launched updated website

I have a large library with 5 members attached. Only one of the accounts was updating to a partial collection but not the main account. So I contacted UV tech support and they suggested I change the parental controls to check off to block all various ratings and then let it update. DO NOT DO THIS. It completely wipes out your collection. The main account now shows 0 items when there should be about 1500. I tried it on a sub-account that had only shown 24 items and now it shows 0 too. Tech support asked for my password which I gave them a temp password to troubleshoot this issue. This was days ago and I have not heard a word back from. They do not respond to emails and there is no way of getting in touch with them.

The site obviously wasn't tested before release. The titles have to be reloaded on each computer that accesses the site. In addition, it periodically reverts back to 16 titles even for computers that have previously accessed the site and were showing all titles.

Mine reverted and has stayed that way.

My main account still shows 16. Sub accounts all show 1000. Anything beyond 1000 are not viewable. Sucks. I wanted to kill some sd copies I got free that flixster won't allow me to delete like Snake Eyes.
